Orange County’s Top Aesthetic Destination FOR Brain, Beauty & Body
03.10.23
Dr. Jennifer Armstrong in Newport Beach offers rejuvenating and refreshing procedures using laser technology to reduce signs of aging and improve your overall skin tone and texture. While they do require a little more downtime and recovery compared to dermal fillers and injectables, laser treatments are perfect for boosting the results of your other cosmetic dermatology treatments and maintaining them for the long term.
Dr. Jennifer Armstrong uses cutting-edge laser systems, which produce results that appear quickly and continue to improve over time.
One of my favorite treatments, the LaseMD, removes sun damage, and fine lines, and also provides a collagen boost. LaseMD is also awesome for the neck, upper chest, arms, and hands. If you want a laser that will reduce damage accumulated over years of sun exposure, but not have downtime associated with CO2 or Fraxel, this is your laser!
You'll experience 5-7 days of redness and flaking. However, with more downtime, that means you'll get better results!
If you’re unsure which laser treatment is best for your concerns, they encourage you to come in and see Dr. Armstrong for a private consultation at your earliest convenience. She’ll sit down with you, listen to your concerns, evaluate your skin, and develop a fully personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
And, as an added incentive to get in soon: winter is the perfect time for a rejuvenation routine, especially laser treatments. Why? It’s best to avoid sun exposure after getting a laser treatment.

North Italia Turns Pi Day into Pi Month
03.10.23
North Italia is celebrating Pi Day for a full month with a fresh selection of new regional pizzas, each featuring local ingredients and influenced by the diverse culinary traditions of the location’s community.
Beginning on Tuesday, March 14 (Pi Day) and available through Sunday, April 10, each of North Italia’s Los Angeles locations including Santa Monica, El Segundo, Del Amo, and Irvine will debut a La Birria pizza inspired by the popular Mexican style birria taco with braised beef and a consommé dipping broth to taste like a home-cooked meal!
This hand-tossed pie ($18) was dreamt up by Executive Sous Chef Mickey Defiebre utilizing the restaurant’s fresh, seasonal ingredients including Oaxaca cheese, smoked mozzarella, short rib birria, pickled onions, and guajillo salsa.
Established in 2002, North Italia is a modern neighborhood restaurant offering freshly made, handcrafted cuisine inspired by authentic Italian fare.
